Please cast your vote by commenting on this blog post below.  Voting opens on April 6, 2015 and closes on April 18, 2015.  The winner will receive a prize from The Stitching Depot and will advance to Moda's National Viewers Choice online quilt show for a chance to win additional prizes.

Proceeds from this challenge will benefit USACares.org whose mission is to assist military families in time of need.

Kimberly's Hot Cocoa

Kimberly's Hot Cocoa

1/2c sugar
1/4c unsweetened cocoa powder
4c milk
3/4tsp vanilla extract

 1. Mix cocoa, sugar and one cup of milk in a saucepan. Over medium heat stir constantly until the mixture is heated. You can also heat in a microwave on 50% power until hot.

2. Slowly stir in the rest of the milk and continue to heat (do not boil). If heating in the microwave, add the remaining milk and heat on 50% power until hot.

3. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Mix well, top with mini marshmellows and enjoy!

Makes 4 cups At this point I pour the hot cocoa into a Crockpot on low heat and make a couple more batches.
